The Artadia Awards provide contemporary visual artists living or working in Atlanta with financial support and exposure. Three artists will receive unrestricted funds of $10,000, and one artist will receive the Marciano Artadia Award of $25,000. Honorariums will also be provided to Finalists.


South Arts Cross-Sector Impact Grants

South Arts’ mission is advancing Southern vitality through the arts, and this program addresses a strategic goal to cultivate and strengthen deep, cross-sector partnerships that are artist and community centered. As communities continue to change, the arts play an incomparable role in addressing many of our communal and individual challenges and strengths. These grants of up to $15,000 support “Arts &…” projects developed by partners—one arts organization or artist, and one non-arts organization—harnessing the power of collaboration.


Carolinas Rehab Art Gallery
North Carolina and South Carolina

Carolinas Rehabilitation is looking for local and regional artists (North and South Carolina) to submit pieces to be hung in their newly renovated, high-traffic space. Every three months the gallery will be filled with new art, chosen by a committee. The artists chosen for each time period will be able to display three pieces of art, specifically work that creates a positive and welcome distraction for their patients and visitors.


Visual AIDS 2026 Research Fellowship

Visual AIDS announces the fourth year of their research fellowship program, which supports original writing and scholarship about artists who have been lost to AIDS. Research fellows will work with Visual AIDS to develop a piece of original writing for the Visual AIDS website, illuminating the life and work of an artist lost to AIDS. The Visual AIDS Research Fellowship will provide four fellows with a $1000 research stipend and editorial support. Fellows will conduct research on artists who have been lost to AIDS, drawing on primary sources in the Visual AIDS Archive Project and other archival collections, as well as interviews with estates, families, and friends.


Windgate Artist Residency at University of Arkansas, Little Rock

The Windgate Artist in Residence at UA Little Rock is a semester-long residency program open to artists, designers, and craftspeople. This residency offers the selected applicant the opportunity to create work and engage with the School of Art and Design community, as well as the greater Little Rock community. The primary goal of the residency program is to provide time to make and develop work, and the space to make it while interacting with our community. This program provides a $30,000 stipend, housing, funding for materials and travel, studio space, and access to UA Little Rock’s extensive studios. The selected artist will have 24-hour access to a private studio and specialized areas including: a Woodshop equipped with a CNC and laser cutter, Ceramics Studio, Jewelry and Metalsmithing Studio, Smithy and Foundry, Photography Studio, and a Printmaking Studio.


South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant to Visual and Media Artists

The South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant Program offers one of the largest regional, government-sponsored artists’ grants in the United States, awarding $15,000 and $7,500 grants to resident visual and media artists from the counties of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach. Since it was established in 1988, the Consortium has awarded over to $4 million in grants to over 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties, and since 2019, artworks by Miami-Dade based artists are acquired and accessioned for the Art in Public Places Collection.


The Studio Museum in Harlem Residency

Proposed as a founding initiative in 1968, the Artist-in-Residence program has earned the Studio Museum in Harlem recognition for its catalytic role in advancing the work of visual artists of African and Afro-Latinx descent. Envisioned by artist William T. Williams as an “intimate community of artists working and learning from each other,” the program, launched in 1969, was one of three founding initiatives, alongside the Film Unit and the Studio Program. Each artist receives 24/7 access to a private 252-square-foot studio space and a shared lounge in the museum. The program offers consistent individual studio visits with the Curatorial Department and other Studio Museum staff and the residency awards each artist a stipend of $37,500, paid out on a biweekly basis over the course of the year.

Nacán Art Residency invites one to immerse themselves in the breathtaking surroundings of a pristine tropical forest with access to a stunning beach in Samaná, Dominican Republic. This residency is designed for artists who want to explore or experience new artistic processes, and is open for a group of three to four artists so that the dynamics and interaction among them feed creativity. Criticism is only a motor towards objectivity respecting the autonomy of each project.


Edward F. Albee Foundation Winter/Spring Residency

Located approximately two miles from the center of  Montauk and the Atlantic Ocean, “The Barn” rests in a secluded knoll which offers privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The Foundation expects all those accepted for residence to work seriously and to conduct themselves in such a manner as to aid fellow residents in their endeavors. Writers and visual artists are offered individual en-suite bedrooms and separate working studios. Domestic residents are provided with a $2500 stipend; foreign residents are reimbursed for verified expenses up to $2500.


PhotoWork Junior Fellowship 2026

The PhotoWork Junior Fellowship celebrates individual artists and their craft, offering a space for education and experimentation beyond traditional academic pathways. Through a holistic support network, Fellows receive personalized guidance that meets them at their current stage while challenging them to advance their practice and strengthen the foundations of their future careers. At the same time, the Fellowship contributes to a broader awareness and appreciation of the post-documentary genre and its practitioners.

Craft Research Fund Grant

As the Center’s first and longest-running grant program, the Craft Research Fund is dedicated to supporting new and interdisciplinary research about craft in the United States. Since 2005, the program has supported 255 projects in 41 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico by distributing over $1,900,000. Grants up to $15,000 are awarded to support new and interdisciplinary research about craft in the United States.


Skowhegan Residency

During the nine-week program, artists working across all disciplines have the opportunity to live as a community of peers on Skowhegan’s 350-acre campus in rural Maine. Participants dedicate time to their studio practices while engaging in a collective learning process through a variety of skill-sharing and theoretical workshops, group and individual studio visits, performances, lectures, and reading groups.

This call has a $20-$80 submission fee.


Sculpture at Posy Park

The City of San Bruno Culture and Arts Commission invites artists to submit proposals for a permanent outdoor sculpture to be installed at Posy Park. Located at the intersection of Huntington Avenue and San Mateo Avenue, Posy Park is a prominent public plaza situated just outside the San Bruno Caltrain station and is a gateway to downtown San Bruno. Additionally, the park features a tile mural commemorating the city’s history, making it a key cultural landmark and potential community gathering place.


Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans

The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Each year, we invest in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture, or their academic field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support over two years, and they join a lifelong community of New American Fellows.

Sonntag Grant for Photography

Launched in 2025 and based in Berlin, this annual photography grant aims at supporting FLINTA artists (female, lesbian, inter, non-binary, trans, agender). Each year, one artist is awarded €3,000 to develop a project. The focus is on giving time, support, and space to pursue new or ongoing work. We want to give visibility to artists who reflect on the world in thoughtful, critical, or imaginative ways.
