In the spirit of our newest print edition, BURNAWAY #2: Exchange, we asked pairs of artists and art professionals to engage in conversations on various topics at our booth at the Decatur Book Festival. We’ll be presenting more edited versions of these in the coming weeks.

In this audio segment, artists Kiki Blood and Meredith Kooi discuss their performance-based work. Specifically, they touch on what it means to be “present,” the transference of energy between performer and audience within the space that they occupy, and the future routes that they suppose their creative practices will take.
