On a surprisingly warm January morning in Atlanta, I caught up with Beth Malone, cofounder and executive director of Dashboard Co-Op, outside at Octane Coffee in Grant Park to talk about the organization’s beginnings and growth, its curatorial process, and managing stakeholder expectations as it continues to grow in scale and scope. Beth also shares how she and Dash cofounder Courtney Hammond are embracing their expansion to cities like Detroit, the likelihood of a permanent space, and what success looks like for the organization in 2015.
