Radio Version: Click the player above to listen to this morning’s broadcast on AM1690, or click here to download the MP3.

Episode 58: Myke Johns of Write Club Atlanta discusses inspirations for the monthly literary series that pits writers in timed battles of “verbal jujutsu.” The contests convene on the second Wednesday every month, including this Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 9PM. The event’s Facebook page explains the new location, just around the corner from PushPush Theater in Decatur.

(Disclosure: Coincidentally, this month’s edition of Write Club includes two writers who are also contributors to this publication.)

Special thanks to AM1690, The Voice of the Arts, our partners in producing ARTSpeak with BURNAWAY. The radio program broadcasts over the airwaves every Tuesday in two rotations, 8-8:30AM and 6-6:30PM.
