Episode 84: This week Claire Maxwell speaks with Shana Barefoot, Exhibitions and Collections Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA). Shana talks about her role as Exhibitions and Collections Manager, how the collection process works, and how the permanent collection at MOCA GA is unique in that it only holds works from Georgia artists. She also talks about the recent exhibition, Made in the 80’s, which she co-curated with other MOCA GA employees.
