Episode 55: J’ouvert: At the Devil’s Playground is an exhibition by Radcliffe Roye currently on view at the City Gallery of Chastain Arts Center as part of the National Black Arts Festival. In this episode, the Brooklyn-based photographer shares with host Beau Torres on topics of Jamaican culture, what it means to photograph as an outsider, and the relationship between pure documentation and theatrical storytelling with the camera.
