Sorry, looks like no contributors are set

After nearly a year of planning, Atlanta PlanIt debuted a soft launch of its new design this morning. The official launch will be next week.

Nicole Jones, Editor-in-Chief of Atlanta PlanIt, comments:

“During this climate when funding for the arts is experiencing such a decline, it has become increasingly important for citizens to be better informed of the vibrancy of Atlanta’s arts community. The combined support of our sponsors and PBA of this project has demonstrated a commitment to the arts in Atlanta, and it has helped us breathe new life into the site. I’m thrilled for the first wave of enhancements and am even more excited for upcoming future plans – including IPhone apps, community input opportunities, public art maps, arts criticism, ticketing capabilities and more.”

Check out their new homepage and let us know what you think. Good? Bad? Something you might do differently? PBA is organizing a media event Wednesday, May 12, from 5:30-7:30PM, at Ormsby’s on Howell Mill Road, to hear feedback.
