Bethany Springer

With a background in modern dance and sculpture, Bethany Springer is the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, Arkansas and Iowa Arts Council fellowships, and a UA Community Research Award. She has been an artist-in-residence at Terra Nova National Park in Newfoundland, The Arctic Circle in Svalbard, and numerous national residencies. Springer’s work has showcased across the US, Canada, Italy, and Svalbard. She is currently a Professor in Sculpture + Experimental Media at the University of Arkansas.
