Book//Zine 002 Oct 24, 2026 Atlanta, Georgia

Burnaway is pleased to present over 100 small publishers, presses, and artists for the second edition of Book//Zine (002), our art book and zine fair, on October 24, 2026 from 11AM-5PM EST. The fair will take place within an expanded footprint at Goat Farm in Atlanta, GA.

Book//Zine 002 brings together exhibitors from 30 cities across 16 states, including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Knoxville, London, Miami, New Orleans, and New York. Book//Zine 002 welcomes 51 first-time exhibitors, including Pamplemousse Magazine (San Francisco), Ujima Press (Boston), Captura (Atlanta), FLATS (Houston), VOX ATL (Atlanta), Cattywampus Press (Chapel Hill), and Pinakotheca Books (Atlanta). All exhibitors are chosen through a competitive application and selection process.

Last yearโ€™s Book//Zine brought together an estimated 1000 attendees interested in everything from art books and poetry anthologies to riso zines and flip books they can hold and own. This yearโ€™s larger list of exhibitors brings even more opportunities for attendees to immerse themselves in independent art publishing, print culture, and DIY practices.

Returning exhibitor Paul Shortt says, โ€œI was really impressed with Book//Zine. For a first time fair, it was well organized, with a great location, volunteers, and thoughtful curation. I had great sales, and connected with the local arts community in Atlanta and beyond.”

โ€œLast year, Book//Zine 001 had an amazing turnout with vendors across genre and form for a fair that began as a leap of faith with Madeline Benfield, our recently promoted Program and Development Manager. 002 is even better, with more voices and geographies represented. In this moment, it is heartening to see so many people excited to present (and sell!), building relationships inside and outside of the Atlanta region,โ€ says Burnawayโ€™s Executive Director Brandon Sheats. โ€œThereโ€™s power, humor, and solidarity in print that we desperately need right now; youโ€™ll see that at the fair. โ€

Highlights include Posy Pressโ€™s mini-zine Risograph workshop at Goat Farm studio S125, Blackstar Projectโ€™s Seen journal, the return of independent publisher of Caribbean art and culture FORGOTTEN LANDS, a traffic safety sign installation by Isaiah Erin Jones of JONES & I (North Carolina and Atlanta), and the release of New South III, Atlanta Center Photographyโ€™s third annual publication.
