ArtFields 2025 Prizes
Lake City, South Carolina

Submissions for ArtFields, an annual competition and exhibition in Lake City, South Carolina, are now open. Organized by the Lake City ArtFields Collective, accepted artists are part of a celebration of art and community while they compete for over $100,000 in prizes, plus Southeastern Partner awards that include exhibitions and residencies. Adult artists of all working media who reside in the competition’s 12 participating Southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia) are invited to apply.

Artadia Houston Awards

The Artadia Awards provide contemporary visual artists living or working in Houston with financial support and exposure. Three artists will receive unrestricted funds of $15,000. Honorariums will also be provided to Finalists.


National Sculpture Society Stanley Bleifeld Memorial Grant

This $5,000 prize is awarded annually to a sculptor who has demonstrated outstanding ability in their field and created a body of work inspired by nature which includes works of sculpture in the round and in bas-relief. All applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States.


VIA Art Fund Artistic Production Grant

VIA Art Fund is accepting letters of inquiry (LOIs) for their Artist Production grant program. The grant awards individual artists, nonprofit organizations, and institutions $25,000-100,000 in support of new artistic commissions that take place outside museum or gallery walls, within the public realm, or in nontraditional exhibition environments. Project must have a confirmed exhibition venue and confirmed artist.


The 2025 Harding Art Show

Since its inception in 1975, The Harding Art Show has become one of the largest and most profitable fine art exhibitions in the Southeastern United States. This highly anticipated annual event showcases over 75 talented artists from around the country whose works are representative of various styles across multiple mediums. On May 1-3, 2025, Harding Academy will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Harding Art Show.

2025 Open Call: Art on The Plaza at Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami

The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami is pleased to announce an open call to South Florida artists for a commission opportunity as part of the 2025 Art on the Plaza initiative. This year, MOCA NoMi is offering the opportunity for local artists to submit their work through an open call for Art on the Plaza 2025. They are requesting qualifications and concept proposals from professional artists in an effort to promote temporary installations on our public plaza and inspire our community and museum visitors. Interested artists are invited to make concept proposals for temporary public art installations spanning three to four months in duration, beginning in March 2025. Submissions will be reviewed by a MOCA-appointed committee and selections will be announced on December 9, 2024. 


100 Voices of Florida

100 Voices of Florida offers an unrestricted fund for Floridian-based filmmakers and screenwriters with completed scripts for short films of any genre to promote and encourage storytellers to keep creating. There will be one winner for every 100 submissions.

This call has a $20-$30 submission fee.


VCU Health – Call for Original Artwork

VCU Health is seeking artists to submit digital images of original artwork available for purchase for the new inpatient and outpatient Liver Transplant Units. This opportunity is open to artists in Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, DC, Maryland and West Virginia. You are responsible for shipping or delivering your artwork if selected.


Bernheim Forest 2025 Artist in Residence Program
Clermont, Kentucky

The Bernheim Forest residency awards up to 4 residencies a year to artists whose art ignites wonder, sparks curiosity, and brings people closer to nature. The program includes a $2,500 stipend along with the opportunity to live at Bernheim Forest and create site specific work inspired by their total immersion experience in the natural environment. One residency is always dedicated to an artist currently living in Kentucky or nearby counties in Southern Indiana; and one residency is dedicated to an artist whose work addresses environmental issues and the climate crisis. They encourage visual artists of all mediums to apply.


Public Art Call for Proposals on Linnentown Lane
Athens, Georgia

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) invites professional artists to submit qualifications for consideration for public art on Linnentown Lane in Athens, Georgia. The selected artist(s) will work with stakeholders and government staff to create public art that enhances the project and complements the selected site. A suitable public art installation will be a sculpture of landmark-scale, viewable from the road. This sculpture will serve as a visual icon of the injustice that occurred at the site of the Linnentown community in the name of urban renewal. The work of art will capture the beauty and joy of life in Linnentown, but also speak to the harm enacted on the people of Linnentown, the pain they experienced in their displacement and the legacy their descendants have inherited.


Idea Capital 2024 Grant
Atlanta, Georgia

Idea Capital provides multiple grants per year on a competitive basis to Atlanta artists, performers and cultural producers on a competitive basis. The funding model continues to be based on collecting small investment donations from the arts community at large and then redistributing the money to directly support artists. 


Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant

These monthly grants range from $500–$3,000, with the average amount being $1,700. Visual and performing artists whose work has a contemporary, experimental nature and who have a US Tax ID Number can apply.


Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship

The Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship fund is dedicated to providing financial support for individuals wishing to learn more about the book arts. The Center will award scholarships covering the full tuition and materials for one course per individual. Awardees are selected based on financial need and proof of having satisfied the prerequisites for the desired course. Please fill out and submit the following form at least three weeks before the start date of the workshop to be considered for financial assistance.
