Canadian Consulate in Atlanta: 50th Pride Anniversary Mural

ART OF NATURE: INTO THE WILD

Blue Heron Nature Preserve seeks proposals for works by contemporary artists to design projects based on the theme Into the Wild. Selected artists will receive an $800 stipend to execute the artwork. Projects must be an outdoor piece that is integrated within the Preserve. Artworks may be site-specific. Durability/ephemerality in outdoor conditions must be considered. $25 to submit ($10 for students).

Cue Art Foundation Open Call for Exhibitions

Emerging and under-recognized artists and curators can submit their ideas for a solo exhibition. Artists will receive mentor support, a studio visit and installation guidance in preparation for the exhibition, as well as a $5,000 honorarium and an accompanying exhibition catalogue.
Coco Hunday Open Call Deadline: April 5, 2021
Coco Hunday invites artists to send a PDF proposal for a Coco Hunday Solo exhibition in either Gallery 1, Gallery 2, or both spaces simultaneously.
For the exhibition PDF proposal itself, there are no requirements, we invite artists to respond in a variety of ways that fit the spirit of their work, traditional, poetic, or subversive. All PDF proposals will be permanently archived on cocohunday.com for public viewing–we hope the range of submissions will become a repository for use by artists, curators, students, and researchers.
The selected artist(s) will be interviewed by an active curator, theorist, or artist picked collaboratively with the exhibiting artist to be permanently published on cocohunday.com. This interview could take the form of a video, an IM chat, a transcript, zoom dialogue, or a number of other more experimental forms.

The Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) New Orleans announced today its annual Gulf South Open Call inviting artists to submit artworks that reflect on issues of health. Curated by Dr. David Robinson-Morris, Regional Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Ochsner Health System, and founder of Xavier University’s Center for Equity, Justice, and the Human Spirit, the CAC’s Gulf South exhibition will feature multimedia works by artists from across the region and will explore conceptions of public and community health, medicalization, (dis)/ability, hospitalization, and health (in)equity.
