The 2025 National Juried Exhibition – Gallery 130
Oxford, Mississippi

Gallery 130, located at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi will host a juried exhibition in Spring 2025, which will open on February 24th and close on March 21st, 2025. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, Second Place, and Third Place. The juror for this year’s exhibition is Dixie Boswell. Artists who are selected will be asked for artist statements and more information in preparation for the exhibition. Open to all artists over 18 years old. All artwork must have been completed within the last 5 years. All media and creative approaches are accepted, including but not limited to ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, painting, video, sound, photography, performance, etc. Current faculty and students at the University of Mississippi are not eligible to apply.

This call has a $30 application fee.


VCU Health – Call for Original Artwork

VCU Health is seeking artists to submit digital images of original artwork available for purchase for the new inpatient and outpatient Liver Transplant Units. This opportunity is open to artists in Virginia, North Carolina, Washington, DC, Maryland and West Virginia. You are responsible for shipping or delivering your artwork if selected.


Bernheim Forest 2025 Artist in Residence Program
Clermont, Kentucky

The Bernheim Forest residency awards up to 4 residencies a year to artists whose art ignites wonder, sparks curiosity, and brings people closer to nature. The program includes a $2,500 stipend along with the opportunity to live at Bernheim Forest and create site specific work inspired by their total immersion experience in the natural environment. One residency is always dedicated to an artist currently living in Kentucky or nearby counties in Southern Indiana; and one residency is dedicated to an artist whose work addresses environmental issues and the climate crisis. They encourage visual artists of all mediums to apply.


Public Art Call for Proposals on Linnentown Lane
Athens, Georgia

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) invites professional artists to submit qualifications for consideration for public art on Linnentown Lane in Athens, Georgia. The selected artist(s) will work with stakeholders and government staff to create public art that enhances the project and complements the selected site. A suitable public art installation will be a sculpture of landmark-scale, viewable from the road. This sculpture will serve as a visual icon of the injustice that occurred at the site of the Linnentown community in the name of urban renewal. The work of art will capture the beauty and joy of life in Linnentown, but also speak to the harm enacted on the people of Linnentown, the pain they experienced in their displacement and the legacy their descendants have inherited.


Percent for Art Open Call for Northwestern State University Health Performance Center
Natchitoches, Lousisana

The Louisiana Percent for Art Program invites professional artists and artist teams to submit their credentials for consideration in the commissioning of permanent, interior, site-specific installations for the new Health Performance Center at Northwestern State University (NSULA) in Natchitoches, LA. This facility will serve both students and athletes, promoting health, wellness, and performance. The envisioned artwork should capture the essence of NSULA athletics, featuring two and/or three-dimensional elements, utilizing a diverse array of media and materials. This commission is open nationally to professional artists 18 and over. 


Creative Greensboro Downtown Arts Open Call
Greensboro, North Carolina

Downtown Arts provides support for and generates awareness about members of Greensboro’s visual arts community while enhancing the downtown built environment with original works of art. Selected artists will receive compensation and the support of City of Greensboro led marketing initiatives. Selected artists will receive compensation and promotion through several City-led initiatives. Applicants to this Call for Artists can choose to be considered for one or both of the following opportunities:

Art on Downtown Kiosks: a $500 honorarium will be awarded to up to ten artists whose submitted work is selected for digital display on City maintained property, including on the 11 digital kiosks located throughout downtown, February 2025 through January 2026. Each selected artist/image will be displayed in a rotating slideshow on the downtown kiosks for 10 weeks.

Art in City Hall: a $3,000 commission will be awarded to one artist who will create a new, original work no larger than 36” x 24” (or 36” x 24” x 24” if artwork is three-dimensional) that reflects their creative perspective on Greensboro in 2024. The original work will be placed in the City’s permanent collection and displayed periodically in public facilities. 

Both opportunities are available for Greensboro-based artists working in painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, glass, photography, digital arts, or fiber arts.


Suwanee SculpTour Call for Entry 2025-27

The Suwanee Public Arts Commission (PAC) is seeking proposals from artists and/or artist teams for design, execution, and installation of original outdoor sculptures for long-term, temporary display throughout downtown Suwanee. The objective is to have a well-balanced exhibit of sculptures with various styles, types, and sizes. This initiative aims to enrich downtown Suwanee’s arts and culture scene while offering artists a unique opportunity to gain exposure by displaying their work for residents and visitors alike to admire. Now in its 8th year, this vibrant program has showcased 106 sculptures, with nearly 20% joining Suwanee’s permanent collection and others purchased by private entities for prominent display.


Open Call for Nashville Public Library Courtyard Sculpture Project

Idea Capital 2024 Grant

Idea Capital provides multiple grants per year on a competitive basis to Atlanta artists, performers and cultural producers on a competitive basis. The funding model continues to be based on collecting small investment donations from the arts community at large and then redistributing the money to directly support artists. 


Call for Artists: LSU Chemistry & Materials Building Exterior Art

2025 Deland Sculpture Walk
Deland, Florida

All sculptors are invited to participate in the 2025/2027 DeLand Sculpture Walk Exhibition, March 2025 through February 2027. Organized and presented by the Museum of Art – DeLand with the support of the City of DeLand, this exhibition offers established and emerging artists the opportunity to display their sculptures throughout the heart of beautiful downtown DeLand, Florida. Several works will be selected for installation throughout downtown DeLand. Each finalist whose work is installed will receive a $2500.00 honorarium to offset transportation and incidental expenses. 


The New Gallery Studio Residency / Solo Exhibition
Clarksville, Tennessee

The New Gallery at Austin Peay State University is offering its gallery space for a newly implemented Summer studio artist-in-residence program. The purpose of the residency/exhibition is to bring outside contemporary artists to Clarksville and the TN Mid-state region and to provide studio space/time for experimentation with new ideas. The New Gallery is a 1500 square foot white cube gallery with 120 linear feet of wall space with 36 feet of moveable wall space. The New Gallery is generously funded by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts (CECA) and the Department of Art+Design at Austin Peay State University. Artists who live within a 300-mile radius (+/- 10 miles) of Clarksville, TN. Submission materials should demonstrate professional experience and preparedness for a solo exhibition. Artists must be at least 21 years old.


Jazz Fest Volunteer Photographer Program 2025

The Jazz Fest Volunteer Photographer Program is a community outreach project of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Archive. The mission of the program is to provide documentation of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell for the Foundation Archive. This documentation goes beyond the stages and music to include the “internal culture” of Jazz Fest – the food, art, culture, and people who attend the festival. These aspects are crucial in making Jazz Fest an annual success.


McColl Center Artists-in-Residence Programs

McColl Center Fall 2025 Artists-in-Residence
McColl Center’s Artist-in-Residence Program for Fall 2025 sparks artistic growth for emerging and mid-career artists. Residents enjoy private housing, a large-scale studio, guidance, marketing support, and a stipend. They have the freedom to focus on artistic exploration and engage with the local creative community. Access to shared labs: 3D, ceramics, media, and woodshop. The program runs from September 9 to December 15, 2025.

McColl Center Fall 2025 Artists-in-Residence in Partnership with Atrium Health
McColl Center invites local Charlotte and regional artists to apply for the Fall 2025 Artist-in-Residence program, with a focus on healthcare and healing. Artists may work in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, new media, or interdisciplinary practices. Successful proposals should engage Atrium patients and/or staff. Residency includes private housing, a large-scale studio, curatorial guidance, marketing support, and a stipend. Access to shared labs: 3D, ceramics, media, and woodshop. The program runs from September 9 to December 15, 2025.


Jazz & Heritage Archive Fellowship Research Grant
New Orleans, Louisiana

The Fellowship Research Grant is a program of the Jazz & Heritage Archive to support research about Louisiana’s diverse music, cultural, and artistic heritage. Successful applicants have a history of productive scholarship via public presentations, publications, or exhibitions.  Recipients chosen will receive $5,000 from the Jazz & Heritage Archive. Applicants can be academic, independent, or community scholars with a considerable record of achievement, and those from the United States or away are welcome to apply.


Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant

These monthly grants range from $500–$3,000, with the average amount being $1,700. Visual and performing artists whose work has a contemporary, experimental nature and who have a US Tax ID Number can apply.


Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship

The Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship fund is dedicated to providing financial support for individuals wishing to learn more about the book arts. The Center will award scholarships covering the full tuition and materials for one course per individual. Awardees are selected based on financial need and proof of having satisfied the prerequisites for the desired course. Please fill out and submit the following form at least three weeks before the start date of the workshop to be considered for financial assistance.
