Whitney Washington is a Black creative non-fiction writer based in Huntsville, Alabama. Washington writes essays about politics and culture in the South. They are a 2023 Periplus Fellow, and an alum of the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop and the Tin House Summer Workshop. Washington is currently in the Black Embodiments Studio’s Arts Writing Incubator. Their work has been published in Electric Literature, Reckon and Roxane Gay’s newsletter, The Audacity.
