Niara Simone Hightower

Niara Simone Hightower was raised in Boston with roots in the South and Midwest. A learner of Black studies, she explores Black (women’s) worlds and ways of being, or freeing, through interdisciplinary and critical projects in the cultural and civic realms. She is currently thinking about Black girls, their living, their contributions, and their faith. She is an editor at Jupiter Magazine and Boston Art Review and she is writing in various ways.
