In my universe i’ll live forever
Kelsie Conley reiterates the writing on the walls at The Pilot Light, an experimental venue in Knoxville, Tennessee for the next iteration of the Annotations column.
Kelsie Conley is a curator and writer based in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she serves as the Assistant Curator at the Knoxville Museum of Art. She is also the director of Bad Water, a project-space in North Knoxville. Described by a viewer as a “soul-project,” Bad Water embodies the ethos central to her curatorial practice: a burning desire to deeply support artists, engage intentionally with the local community and broader art networks, and defiantly encourage the exhibition of diverse, experimental, and evolving art practices in the American South.
