Amanda Lechner

Amanda Lechner is a visual artist born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She lives in Blacksburg, Virginia where she teaches painting at Virginia Tech. Lechner’s studio practice encompasses broad approaches to drawing and painting with specialization in handmade materials like fresco, ink, and egg tempera. She has participated in artist residencies including Stove Works, VCCA, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Lechner’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States.
