WonderRoot has just launched its fourth “Community Supported Art” project, featuring works by six Atlanta artists. Similar to the farming CSAs—Community Supported Agriculture—it’s modeled after, WonderRoot’s seeks to connect artists with collectors at the grassroots level.
Individuals can buy a share in this CSA for $400. They will receive six works during the September-December season by the participating artists: Danielle Brutto, Terri Dilling, Daniel Flores, Julie Sims, Jason Thomas, and Joe Tsambiras. Forty shares are available until September 1 or until they sell out, as the first three installments did.
For skittish investors, there will be three pick-up parties throughout the season at local galleries, where CSA artists will speak and and work is available for viewing. Click here for more information.
