Read Frieze with BURNAWAY!

WHEN: NEW DATE! Monday, February 20, 6:30-8pm
WHERE: The Goat Farm Arts Center, Suite 107
1200 Foster St NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Each month, BURNAWAY’s Art Magazine Reading Group meets to discuss an art magazine they’ve read cover to cover. It’s like book club, but with beer and criticism. It’s free and open to the public.

For February we’ll discuss the Jan./Feb. issue of Frieze, which includes features on artists Monika Baer and Helen Johnson, a survey of young artists dealing with queerness and disability by Dodie Bellamy, a report on art in Bogotá, and essays on art, politics, and activism.

Our meeting will take place on Monday, February 6 from 6:30 until 8pm at the Goat Farm Arts Center. We’ll meet in Suite 107, which is just up the hill from the Warhorse Café. If you’re interested in joining the conversation, pick up a copy and get to reading! Stay tuned for further information about purchasing copies of the issue through BURNAWAY. Let us know you’ll be joining by filling out the form here, or RSVP on Facebook.
