Episode 59: This week Beau Torres speaks with Arthur Grace, an award-winning documentary photographer and photojournalist. Covering many presidential campaigns throughout the years, Grace discusses the humanism that he tries to convey in his work. He focuses on the unusual aspects of running for president including the toll it takes on the candidates physically. He also discusses his book America 101, a visual representation of what makes America unique, which is set to be released November 1. Select photos from Grace’s book Choose Me: Portraits of a Presidential Race, which contains candid photos from the 1988 presidential campaign, are on display at the High Museum of Art through January 6, 2013.
