Episode 79: This week Claire Maxwell speaks with Mary Murphy, visual resources librarian at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Mary discusses SCAD’s upcoming 6th annual Artist’s Book Symposium taking place on May 16. The event is free and open to the public and offers lectures, book demonstrations, and runs in conjunction with SCAD’s Student Artist’s Book Competition where the top artists’ works will be on view. Mary also talks about SCAD’s Artist Book Collection in Atlanta, which houses more than 2,000 artists’ books.
