Creative Time is accepting proposals from artists, activists, and organizers to be a part of the programming at their tenth anniversary Summit happening in mid November. Selected participants will receive an honorarium.

Stormé DeLarverie Writing Residency
This six-to-seven-day residency is for poetry or prose writers from underrepresented groups. Applicants should identify as member of an underrepresented group (writers of color, both American and international, including Native peoples, as well as disabled people and those who identify as LGBTQ+).

Terremoto invites those making contemporary art on the American continent to submit proposals for archival exhibition projects that are research-based and linked to the idea of archiving and/or to an institutional, independent or personal archive.

Artspace invites artists working in a variety of craft media to enter Fine Contemporary Craft, a biennial national juried exhibition. Work will be juried by Mia Hall, Executive Director of Penland School of Craft. Eligible media include functional or sculptural works in the following: basketry, ceramics, fiber, furniture (any media), glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, handmade paper and wood. York County Arts Regional Artist Grants
Regional Artist Project Grants provide an award for individuals and groups of unincorporated artists to pursue projects that further enhance their artistic development by attending a professional development experience or purchasing/renting a piece of equipment. Applicants must be a permanent resident of the region (e.g., have resided for a minimum of twelve (12) months prior to the deadline) of one the following counties: Cabarrus, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Union, or York, South Carolina. The 1858 Prize for Contemporary Southern Art awards $10,000 to an artist whose work contributes to a new understanding of art in the South. Presented annually, the prize recognizes the highest level of artistic achievement in any media. Artists from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia are eligible to apply.

Metro Nashville Arts Commission is issuing a national Call to Artists for an artist to design, fabricate and install an iconic, permanent public artwork for The Fairgrounds Nashville (TFN). The Fairgrounds site is a historic, vibrant local landmark located in a thriving and diverse neighborhood. With a total artwork budget of $650,000, the project creates an opportunity to reflect the city’s hospitable charm and celebrate the diverse community that resides within it. It is important that the project represent not only the new Major League Soccer (MLS) venue, but also the current and future on-site functions such as the Flea Market, Speedway, State Fair, Expo Events and other regularly occurring events.

Atlanta Photography Group (APG) is now taking entries for Alan Avery Selects, APG’s feature exhibition for Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP), the month-long, citywide photography festival. The exhibition will be juried by Alan Avery, owner and curator of Alan Avery Art Company, the oldest sustained art gallery in Atlanta, which represents works by exciting and technically proficient emerging, mid-career, and internationally established career artists.
