Metal Museum:
40 Under 40: The Next Generation of American Metal Artists
Location: Memphis, TN
In celebration of the Metal Museum’s 40th Anniversary, the Museum is organizing an exhibition titled “40 Under 40” to showcase the work of the next generation of metal artists. The exhibition seeks to include a variety of metals (steel, silver, copper, gold, bronze, aluminum, pewter, iron, brass, etc), as well as a variety of techniques (forging, casting, fabricating, raising, enameling, etc) and forms (jewelry, hollowware, sculpture, installations, furniture, tools, hardware, ornamental architecture, etc). Vermont Studio Center
Location: Johnson, VT
The Vermont Studio Center is an artist residency for visual artists and writers. There are three deadlines per year. The residency offers 2- to 12-week studio residencies for 50+ artists and writers per month (24 painters/ mixed-media, 12 sculptors/mixed-media, 2 printmakers, 2 photographers, and 16 writers). Click here to apply.

Millay Colony For the Arts
Location: Austerlitz, NY
The Millay Colony for the Arts offers one-month residencies to six visual artists, writers, and composers each month between the months of April and November. Nurturing the work of artists of all ages, from a range of cultures and communities, and in all stages of their artistic career, the Colony offers comfortable private rooms, private studio spaces, and ample time to work in a quiet, pastoral atmosphere. Ucross Foundation
Location: Sheridan, WY
The Ucross Foundation provides living accommodations, individual work space, and uninterrupted time to approximately 85 individuals each year. Residencies vary in length from two weeks to six weeks. At any one time, there are up to nine individuals in residence, a mix of visual artists, writers and composers. In most cases, studios are separate from living quarters. Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail- Enota Park – Open Call for Art Professionals
Location: Atlanta, GA
Atlanta Beltline Inc. (ABI) is currently in search of artists and art professionals to create a monumental art piece- eight feet (8’) or larger- for the Enota Park expansion as part of Atlanta’s Beltline Westside Trail. One of the original thirteen “jewels” of the Atlanta Beltline and a gateway to the Westview community, when completed, Enota Park will be bounded by Interstate 20 to the north, the Westside Trail to the east, Lucile Avenue to the south, and Enota Place to the west. Penland Core
Location: Penland, NC
The Penland Core Fellowship Program is a two-year work-study fellowship that offers emerging artists the opportunity to explore artistic interests and career possibilities in a supportive artistic community.

2018 Idea Capital Grant
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Idea Capital makes grants ranging from $500 to $5000 to metropolitan Atlanta artists to encourage experimental and investigative art projects, including the awarding of 1 travel grant. The Lighthouse Works

Lighthouse Works is seeking applications from artists, choreographers and writers forSession 34, March 12 to April 23, 2019, and Session 35, May 7 to June 18, 2019, of our Fellowship Program. ArtFields 2019 Call for Submissions
Location: Lake City, SC
Description: With more than $140,000 up for grabs in prize money this year, ArtFields (Lake City, South Carolina’s nine-day art exhibition and competition) is officially accepting submissions in all media from artists who live in its 12 participating Southern states. ArtFields started in 2013 with a simple goal: honor Southeastern artists with nearly two weeks worth of celebration and competition in the heart of Lake City – a small, once agrarian South Carolina town. To date, ArtFields has awarded nearly $700,000 in prize money, helped launch the careers of artists, and ultimately led to Lake City’s transformation into a burgeoning arts mecca.
