BURNAWAY’s annual professional development intensive, Art Writing Incubator, will return for its seventh cycle in Summer 2019. Over the course of five weeks in July and August, selected participants will strengthen their abilities as writers, develop professional practices for editorial environments, and study the history of magazines and alternative publishing within the broader context of contemporary art.
In addition to an introductory session facilitated by BURNAWAY Editor Logan Lockner, participants will take part in four day-long workshops led by guest critics and curators from some of the world’s leading contemporary art publications and institutions.
