We know there are a lot of matching grants in the Atlanta arts mix right now, so we’re reaching out to you with our plea: We need office computers. We are in an exciting time of growth at the Magazine and are ready to purchase assets!
Over the last 4 years, BURNAWAY has consistently expanded its reach, but, in order to maintain this, we need your help! We are in need of new computers and software to accommodate the increasing staff and to build capacity. Currently, the staff members use personal computers to conduct day-to-day business and share external hard drives to maintain files and records. BURNAWAY needs $5,000 to buy 3 new iMacs, Microsoft Office Suite and licensing for each computer, and IT support for set up and installation. Equipment to properly run the publication are key to ensuring its continued growth and success.
It is our top priority to maintain the Magazine’s program as free everyday and if you can financially contribute any small amount you are comfortable with, we can collectively do this! Just imagine, if 100 of you each contribute $25 we will make our goal. That amounts to less than one yearly magazine subscription—which, we are!
