Eiko, a body in places
Tanz Farm, the production structure launched by glo and The Goat Farm Arts Center in 2012, returns with Japanese-born dancer and choreographer Eiko. “A Body in Places” is the omnibus title of Eiko’s first solo project, and first foray into exploring her unique and riveting theater of movement out of stillness, shape, light and sound in non-traditional spaces.

Named “Best Dance” by the New York Times 2016 Year in Review, Eiko is a MacArthur Genius and Guggenheim Fellow. Her work has been presented worldwide, including at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Whitney Museum, and the Walker Center.
Primary activities of Eiko’s week-long Tanz Farm residency will include multiple performance installations in Midtown Atlanta, pleasure dance SHOPS and “Artist as Migrant,” a FEED conversation with Eiko, and Atlanta cultivators.
All events are free and public.
