R. Land’s catfish-men are discussed at length in Curt Holman’s 2009 article in Creative Loafing.

The screening honoring the 50th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock’s film Psycho, sponsored by AM 1690, begins at the Plaza Theater this Thursday, October 28, at 7PM.

Although R. Land is not currently featured in a formal gallery exhibition, his artwork can be seen on the streets of Atlanta, in hangouts such as Joe’s Coffee in East Atlanta Village, and in the boutique area of Young Blood Gallery, located just around the corner from Plaza Theater.

The radio show ARTSpeak with BURNAWAY broadcasts Tuesday mornings between 8-9AM and afternoons between 6-7PM on AM 1690, The Voice of the Arts.
