Evereman's iconic face looms above visitors to the Bench, an art space on the Westside. All photos by Faith Ploener.
Photographer Faith Ploener journeyed to the Bench this weekend for Everybody for Evereman, a group show organized by Chris Hamer of Urban Pop. Evereman is an Atlanta street artist whose signature resembles an Atari-era emoticon. Instead of spray paint, he often prefers to carve the face out of tiny wooden blocks. Over 20 guest artists began with this symbol, and were allowed the freedom to complete a scene or motif around the Evereman face.
