Allison Rentz (of Chinese Frankenstein) performs at Eyedrum tonight. Book burning may or may not be included in her show.

Eyedrum’s celebrating their tenth anniversary tonight with music, the debut of Chinese Frankenstein’s new performance art piece, and “The Eddies,” an award show honoring local artists.

I probably don’t have to remind any of you how consistently awesome Eyedrum’s been since their inception ten years ago – they consistently show ground-breaking music and art at their 6,000 square foot MLK warehouse, all without going even a dollar into debt. There’s a lot of great Atlanta galleries and art spaces, but Eyedrum is one of the few that are absolutely crucial to the arts in Atlanta and the Southeast.

The event is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Friend-level Eyedrum memberships are avaible for $25, a $10 discount from the normal price.

The show starts at 8, and probably lasts until Too Damn Late.
